Irish-Made Cold-Process Soap, Rooted in Simplicity

Made by hand in Cork using the traditional cold-process method, Nuada Naturals soaps are formulated with plant oils and a considered selection of clays and botanicals. Each bar is left to cure for over a month, allowing time for it to harden.

Skincare doesn't need to be complex. I make each batch slowly and carefully, from weighing the oils to allowing every bar time to cure. The collection brings together a range of botanical blends, with ingredients and scent notes to help you find the bar that suits your preferences.

Cold-process soap is made by combining oils with a lye solution, which triggers saponification — the process that turns the oils into soap. Glycerin is naturally produced during this process and remains in the finished bar. The soap is then left to cure for several weeks, allowing the bar to harden.

A 110–130 g bar may last around four to six weeks with daily shower use, although this varies with how often it is used and how it is stored. Let your soap dry fully between uses on a well-draining soap dish to help it last longer.
